What we do
ADAS calibration and precision wheel alignment are our principal specialisms. Diagnostics, coding and tyre work support them, so a vehicle can often be measured, calibrated and refitted in one visit where coverage and capacity allow.

Camera, radar and sensor calibration carried out where the applicable vehicle manufacturer procedure requires it, using static and dynamic methods according to that procedure.

Advanced Driver Assistance Systems use cameras, radar and sensors to support the driver. Typical features include lane keeping assist, automatic emergency braking, adaptive cruise control, blind spot monitoring, parking sensors and cameras, and traffic sign recognition. Many modern vehicles use one or more of them.
When calibration may be required
Calibration is carried out where the applicable vehicle manufacturer procedure requires it, for example after windscreen replacement or camera disturbance, following collision repair, after suspension, geometry or wheel alignment work, after sensor removal or replacement, or where diagnosis identifies a relevant fault.
Warning lights do not automatically mean calibration is required; diagnosis comes first. There is also no blanket rule that every vehicle needs ADAS calibration for an MOT.
Static and dynamic calibration
Static calibration is completed in the workshop with targets set to the vehicle procedure; dynamic calibration is completed by driving the vehicle under specified conditions. Both methods are used according to the vehicle procedure. Many calibrations take around one to two hours, which is an estimate rather than a guarantee.

Precision wheel alignment explained
Wheel alignment is about the angles at which the wheels sit, not balancing or rotating tyres. Tracking usually refers to toe adjustment or checking, while a full four-wheel alignment measures and, where adjustable, corrects the relevant geometry across the vehicle.
Symptoms worth checking
Pulling to one side, a steering wheel that sits off-centre, wandering at speed, uneven or rapid tyre wear, or a noticeable change after a pothole, kerb or speed bump. These symptoms can also come from tyres, brakes, suspension, steering, loading or road camber, so we inspect and measure before recommending work.
What an alignment can and cannot do
Alignment corrects geometry that is out of specification where adjustment is provided, which often reduces uneven tyre wear and improves handling. It does not always eliminate pulling, because tyre pressure or conicity, brakes, suspension, steering, loading and road camber may all contribute.
Our process and report
We inspect tyres and suspension components and test drive the vehicle, measure all wheel angles with laser equipment against the manufacturer's specification, adjust where adjustment is provided, then re-measure and give you a printout showing the before and after readings. Most alignments take around 45 minutes to an hour; times are estimates and depend on the vehicle, access, faults and preliminary checks.

Private customers
Drivers come to us directly for alignment checks, ADAS calibration after other work, diagnostics for warning lights, and tyre supply and fitting. Appointments are arranged at our Unit 7 Stafford workshop.

Trade and work providers
We welcome suitable enquiries from garages, bodyshops, windscreen-replacement companies, dealerships, fleet and leasing operators, insurers, accident-management companies and repair networks. Individual jobs and ongoing arrangements can both be discussed.
Estimates, booking, calibration and alignment reports, status updates, invoicing and evidence requirements are agreed for the instruction. Acceptance depends on vehicle coverage, current capacity, technical requirements and commercial terms.
